REMOVABLE STEEL BASE

Standard steel bases, with concrete counterbalance, are available in order to replace the traditional concrete cast-in-place base supporting the crane.

The Comansa Rental team can also design special custom bases when called for.

A custom steel base was notably used on the roof of the building located at 5, place Ville-Marie, in Montréal, where two cranes were installed directly on the roof, without touching the ground. The crane loads were directly transfered to the concrete structure of the existing building. The Comansa Rental engineering team conceived a special design for the installation of these cranes.
